How to Build a Frog Pond

Jul 30, 2009 08:26 PM

If there are a lot of frogs around your house and they keep coming inside then you should make a pond for them. Just follow these easy steps.

Buy strong plastic to put in the ground. Ask the shopkeeper what one will be the best. You can also use cement. If you are using dirt then that will be harder because the water will be dirty.

Dig a hole to put the plastic in and wait until rains.

Wait until after the rain fills it up wait until the frogs come and there might be tadpoles in there!

Tips

  • Try and build it near the sun so the sun will grow water plants that tadpoles eat.

Warnings

  • Do Not build it near poisonous trees because the leaves will fall into the pond.
  • You can fill it up with tap water, but leave it out for 48 hours to get out all the chlorine.
